DYG is proud to announce the completion of a new 100×100 ft playground for the early childhood education program at Boone Elementary in San Antonio, Texas. The space features DYG’s specialized artificial turf, designed specifically for young children. With built-in UV protection and conductive yarn fibers that reduce static electricity by 200%, the turf creates a safer environment for infants and toddlers who crawl and play on the ground.
Additional safety features include shock-absorbent playground padding installed in key fall zones, and a large shade structure that protects children from harsh sun exposure—especially critical for infants with sensitive skin. These elements ensure year-round usability and significantly reduce injury risks.
Since installation, the playground has become a model for inclusive, age-appropriate design in early education. Nearby schools are now exploring similar upgrades, recognizing the positive impact on motor skill development and outdoor engagement for their youngest students.
